Brainspotting is a therapeutic technique

It was developed by DR David Grand that helps people process trauma, emotional distress and other psychological challenges. It is based on the idea that where you look (your eye position) can help access deep, unprocessed emotions and memories stored in the brain and body.

Brainspotting Can Help You Get Your Life Back

Positive Effects of Brainspotting:

Trauma Healing.
Emotional Regulation.
Enhanced Self Awareness.
Faster Healing Than Talk Therapy.
Reduces Nervous System Dysregulation.

Navigate Life’s Challenges With Ease

Brainspotting helps you rise above your challenges and start moving towards your ideal life with less suffering and more fulfillment.

You will get the new mindset you need to discover the root of your problems and cope and deal with all of your stress.

Even if you are not usually comfortable opening up to people, brainspotting may be able to help. I’ve helped people struggling with constant worry find their way to feeling more calm without having to give up their successful careers.

My clients discover that it's possible to be productive without living life and doing work at a frenzied pace.

How Brainspotting Works

Brainspotting consists of 60-minute, one-on-one sessions that help you work through your concerns. In addition to listening, I will use a therapy technique that helps process trauma, emotional distress, and subconscious blocks by using eye positions to access deeper brain regions, I play an active role.

Here’s how it will work step-by-step:

First, I provide a safe, accepting space so that you will feel comfortable sharing your struggles with me.
Through hearing your story, I will start to get a picture of what your challenges are.
We will start with helping you with immediate concerns like managing difficult emotions and challenging life situations.
We will also work to discover what your goals are in therapy and in life.
I may guide your gaze to specific “brainspots”-eye positions that correlate with emotional or physical activation. These spots are believed to connect with the subcortical brain, where trauma and emotional experiences are stored.
By focusing on these points while maintaining mindfulness of bodily sensations and emotions, the brain can process and release stored trauma.

Research shows that brainspotting can positively change your thinking, beliefs, emotions, and behaviors. It can help you let go of what’s holding you back.
